Our story

Since 1978, a Tucson table with heart

A historic home, a from-scratch kitchen, and a gift shop that has been here from the start.

The full story

Blue Willow was founded by Tucson native Janet Seidler in 1978. This beautiful historic home has seen many changes over the years: a residence, a daycare center, an auto body shop, a poster gallery, and then, finally, the restaurant Tucson knows and loves.

Janet's daughter Rebecca Ramey owned and managed the restaurant for over 20 years, modernizing and revitalizing the building and menu. The general manager of 22 years, Stephanie Bevington, purchased Blue Willow in 2022 and continues to ensure Janet's original vision prevails today, with fresh, from-scratch food, a family-like atmosphere and a genuine love for Blue Willow and the Tucson community.
